Nicholas' Workshop Descriptions
Bass Workshops 1 & 2 (All Levels): Work with attendees to assess their playing and develop personal strategies for practice, improvement and developing their personal style. I will work with each of the bassists while they play a tune with a workshop assistant on another instrument and offer practical help they can apply in real time. If we took turns, I'm certain those observing would benefit while they wait their tune to play something. My goal is that each player - no matter what their level - can play something with another musician, and my job would be to glean their musical intentions and help them be realized more completely or with less effort.
Both workshops are taught on Sunday. The 10:00am Sunday morning class will be taught jiointly with Mark Schatz.
