Dana Paul
Dana Paul grew up steeped in the bluegrass music of the Blueridge Mountains in Virginia and is a fine bass player, guitarist and banjo player too. He was a founding member of Cornerstone, one of Ithaca’s most accomplished progressive bluegrass bands from 1990’s and early 2000’s and performed at Grey Fox, Wintergrass, Merlefest and Joe Val Bluegrass Festivals along with many regional and Northeastern festivals. Cornerstone recorded three CD’s in Nashville with producer/engineer Bill Vorndick. He will be teaching bluegrass bass at WVMC 2026 and performing with his wife, vocalist Alice Saltonstall, Naomi Sommers and Rick Manning at the Heavenly Music for Earthly Living workshop on Sunday at noon.
