Kevin Elam

Kevin Elam is an award-winning musician, music director and teacher, known for his vocal ability as well as his mastery of fretted instruments, keyboards, Irish flute, and whistle. Although he boasts a strong background in classical and jazz, Kevin is rooted in traditional music. In 2019, he won the All-Ireland Championship in Men's Singing, a distinction achieved by only one other American in history. As an instructor for programs like MAD Week, Kevin shares the elite expertise that made him a rare American winner of Ireland’s Dalaigh Shield. Students gain a masterclass in traditional style, benefiting from his unique ability to bridge formal jazz training with deep Irish roots.
